About me

I am a dedicated legal professional with over 20 years of experience as an attorney. For the last 15 years in public service, I have developed a strong commitment to justice, and a deep understanding of the law. I graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2000 and have since built a distinguished career in both public service and legal practice.

As a Cook County employee for 15 years, I developed my expertise in public law, serving as an Inspector General Investigator for Cook County for 11 years, where I worked to uphold accountability and integrity in county operations. Since 2022, I have served as Operations Counsel for Cook County Hospital, where I oversee legal matters and advise on labor, employment and operational issues.

In addition to my professional legal experience, I have been actively involved in my community. I served on the Riverside School District 96 School Board from 2013 to 2017, where I worked to ensure that every student had access to a high-quality education. I am also a mother of four children and a volunteer and board member for Bellwood Stray Crew, a 501(c)(3) organization focused on animal welfare.

My experiences have instilled in me a deep sense of fairness and responsibility, qualities I believe are essential for the judiciary. I am committed to serving as a judge who brings a fair, unbiased perspective to every case, upholding the law with integrity and ensuring that justice is served equitably for all.
